Bought this and the hape wood xylophone for my 8 month old. Perfect size for her little hands and the sound have her very enamored. I'm sure as she gets a little older this will continue to amuse and entertain her!
Gave this to my grand-nephew for his first birthday! I like simple, well-made, quality toys that allow a child to use his imagination and to entertain himself. I refuse to purchase Chinese-produced toys. In fact I research everything I buy to make sure that the toy is safe.
My 10-month-old son loves this tambourine. He likes to beat on it and pick it up while crawling. I highly recommend this toy for establishing musical familiarity.
Gave this to my 8 month old and within a few weeks he already had the hang of it. Still not at a year old he will still intentionally pull it out of his toy box to play with. Well worth it.
We gave this to my daughter for her first birthday and she still loves this tambourine 6 months later! She was sick in her first year and is quite behind developmentally. We got this in hopes of helping her to develop some of her gross motor skills (shaking, patting, clapping, etc.). It was great for her and she still plays with it!
